ARTBA member firm Granite has announced three top executive appointments:

  • Jigisha Desai, chief strategy officer: She is a 27-year veteran of Granite, most recently as senior vice president and chief financial officer. She is a member of ARTBA’s board of directors. 
  • Lisa Curtis, chief financial officer: Most recently Granite’s chief accounting officer, she joined the company three years ago as vice president of investor relations.
  • Tim Gruber, senior vice president: Prior to the promotion, his 14-year Granite tenure included serving as the interim vice president of human resources and a member of the executive committee.

“Granite has begun to transform its business and culture which includes reshaping our strategy to expand profitable growth and create value. With the appointment of these three leaders, we are taking steps to clearly define our strategic path and to capitalize on technology and innovation in the infrastructure and materials markets while making sure that we have the right controls and teams in place,” Granite President Kyle Larkin said in a Jan. 28 release, which provides more details on the three executives. 

The Watsonville, California-based company was incorporated in 1922.
