Envisioning the transportation construction industry in a post-pandemic world will be the focus Nov. 16-17 at ARTBA’s combined Central and Western regional meetings and the annual Dr. J. Don Brock TransOvation™ Workshop.
James Minor of Swank Construction Company will moderate the 1:30 p.m. Central, first-day “Future of Work” panel featuring:
- Ross Smith, engineering manager at Microsoft;
- Laura Cataldo, senior manager of construction & real estate at Baker Tilly;
- Brian Ness, director of the Idaho Transportation Department; and
- Bryan Nicol, managing director of infrastructure & capital projects at Deloitte.
ARTBA Vice-Chairman at Large Paula Hammond will moderate a session on Funding Outlook & Opportunities. ARTBA’s Industry Leadership Development Council Southern Chair Ben Lehr will lead a discussion on New Mobility.
The keynote will be delivered by Dr. Morteza Farajian, executive director of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau, at 10 a.m. Central, Nov. 17.
