As COVID-19 continues to disrupt in-person training, ARTBA’s online Fundamentals of U.S. Transportation Construction Safety course allows workers to maintain social distance and learn the material on their own devices. Seasonal slowdowns also make it a great time to enroll in digital training.

“The online courses provide a safe and convenient option for workers who need to complete required safety training or earn professional development hours while in-person opportunities are limited,” said ARTBA Vice President of Education Operations Beth Stinson. “Unlike a classroom, learners can replay the material as many times as they wish, 24/7.”

“Fundamentals” covers the OSHA-10 Hour for Construction course objectives and includes four additional hours of industry-specific safety topics, including temporary traffic control, preventing runovers and backovers, and risk assessment. It can help train new workers, introduce specific safety topics, or update existing knowledge.

The ARTBA Online Learning Center also offers a suite of professional development courses that provide a comprehensive online learning experience, including the free COVID-19 and Common Infectious Diseases course.
