As part of ARTBA’s ongoing efforts to promote safety, we encourage our members and other industry professionals to complete this digital survey to better understand methods of collecting and disseminating real-time information about the presence of workers in highway work zones.

The survey is conducted by the Work Zone Data Working Group, established last year by the U.S. Department of Transportation to improve worker and motorist safety. In 2018 alone, 124 workers were killed in highway work zones.

The survey is open through Aug.  7. Help spread the word about the survey by forwarding this story with the hashtag #WZDSurvey on social media.
