A dozen rail and bus rapid transit infrastructure projects are receiving a share of $891 million in federal funding.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration May 29 announced the support through its Capital Investment Grants (CIG) Program. The Trump administration has funded 35 such grants totaling $8.5 billion since 2017.
