WSP USA’s Paula Hammond May 21 became the new chair of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) International, which is “dedicated to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable transportation industry through the global advancement of women.”

Hammond, above, is national transportation market leader at the engineering professional services firm. She is also ARTBA’s vice chair at-large and a trustee of ARTBA’s Transportation Development Foundation.

Other WTS officers and ARTBA members include

  • Jannet Walker Ford, vice chair, and senior vice president at AECOM;
  • Maggie Walsh, immediate past chair, and vice president at HDR; and
  • Susan Martinovich, treasurer, and vice president at HNTB.

WTS International recognized ARTBA and other industry partners during its virtual annual business meeting. The organization announced it will host a June 11 webinar, which will include a panel with ARTBA President Dave Bauer.
