The U.S. Department of Labor April 1 released temporary regulations regarding expanded sick time and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requirements under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA).
The new rule is in effect through Dec. 31. It supplements fact sheets and FAQs previously released by the agency. explaining when employees qualify for additional leave, and the duration of time that must be given. Hear a recorded webinar explaining the new regulations.
