ARTBA Industry Leader Development Council (ILDC) Chairman Ozzy Bravo is among ENR Southwest’s 2020 Top Young Professionals.
The competition included architects, engineers, project managers and executives. All the winners “demonstrated a mastery of new technologies and worked hard to teach their colleagues and other young professionals about better design and smart construction practices,” the magazine feature says.
Bravo, 34, is national manager at Terracon Consultants Inc. in Tempe, Arizona. Since joining the ARTBA member firm in 2013, he has worked on the I-35E Managed Lanes in North Texas, and transportation projects for the Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Illinois DOTs.
As ILDC chairman, Bravo has led a team of regional council leaders as they have worked to increase the role of next generation executives within the association. Through added networking events, participation in panel discussions and regional leadership activities, the council has been very active under his leadership
ILDC is the home of the Industry Leadership Development Program (ILDP), which each spring provides an introduction to federal and state advocacy for transportation infrastructure market development and protection. Nominations are open for the 2020 program, May 12-14 in Washington, D.C.
