ARTBA’s 2019 National Convention is in Savannah Sept. 22-25.

Over 80 people attended ARTBA’s annual Engineering Issues Breakfast at the Southern Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Conference (SASHTO) in Savannah, Georgia, site of ARTBA’s 2019 National Convention.
ARTBA’s Planning & Design Division Chairman Ben Biller, from Burns & McDonnell, moderated the Aug. 20 panel discussion with state DOT leaders from Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. Topics included financial investment, transportation program outlook, workforce, and alternative delivery. Program highlights from these agencies are available in this handout.
ARTBA members return to Savannah Sept. 22-25 for the annual convention, which will explore “Roadbotics” and Artificial Intelligence: A New Era of Transportation Design & Construction.
