Leo Vecellio, Jr., chairman, president and CEO of Vecellio Group, Inc., is being inducted into the West Virginia Business Hall of Fame. He was 2007 ARTBA chairman and ARTBA Foundation chairman from 2009-2016, in addition to other leadership roles. Vecellio was awarded the ARTBA Award in 2012, the association’s highest honor.

In 1973, Vecellio joined the West Virginia-based Vecellio & Grogan, a road construction firm founded by his father, grandfather and uncle. He quickly helped the business expand to other regions and industries. Vecellio Group is now based in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The Vecellio family in 2018 was inducted into the ARTBA Foundation’s Hall of Fame.

Vecellio’s business success and extensive philanthropy will be recognized at an Aug. 27 ceremony at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. See the full release.
