ARTBA member K-Five Construction Corp. shared the most #puttingsafetyfirst messages on social media during the April 8-12 National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW). As the result, the Westmont, Illinois, firm will receive three free access codes for ARTBA’s Online Learning Center courses.

The courses cover safety-focused areas such as: traffic control, communication, personal protective equipment, building safety plans, hazard control and risk management. They can help with preparation for the ANSI-accredited Safety Certification for Transportation Project Professionals™ (SCTPP) exam and are pre-approved for professional development hours (PDHs.)

Thanks to all the organizations, companies, and individuals who promoted work zone safety awareness by participating in the ARTBA NWZAW social media challenge. The next safety social media challenge will support the May 6-10 National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction Week.

Watch ARTBA’s Twitter (@ARTBA), Instagram (artbassociation), and Facebook (@ARTBAssociation) social media feeds for details about the challenge and other association news and events.
