ARTBA Chairman Robert Alger is urging association members to register for the 2019 Federal Issues Program (FIP) and Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) Fly-In, May 13-15, in Washington, D.C.

“The transportation construction industry’s top priority in 2019 remains building political support for and moving a permanent revenue solution for the Highway Trust Fund,” says Alger, president and CEO of The Lane Construction Corporation. “As a grassroots advocate, you can play a critical role in helping get the job done.”

Attendees will meet with their House representatives and U.S. senators to discuss the trust fund situation and need for an infrastructure package.  Legislative, regulatory, economic, and safety program updates from senior ARTBA staff are on the agenda as are face-to-face meetings with federal agency officials via council, division, and committee meetings. The full program schedule is available on the event website.

A special discount room rate of $329 at the Grand Hyatt Washington is available through April 22. REGISTER NOW.
