The Maryland Transportation Builders and Materials Association (MTBMA), one of ARTBA’s 36 chapter affiliates, is recruiting an executive director to replace Jim Russ, who plans to retire this year.
The incoming executive director will be responsible for achieving strategic business goals while advancing the interests of MTBMA and its membership. This individual will lead and manage the development and implementation of new and existing programs in alignment with MTBMA’s mission, vision, values and strategic goals.
The position requires a minimum of 10 years proven leadership/management experience with knowledge and experience in construction, engineering, construction materials, and/or a government agency in transportation. MTBMA’s new executive director will also serve as a member of ARTBA’s Council of State Executives, the only peer networking group of its kind exclusively for leaders of state groups representing transportation contractors.
