Timothy J. Faerber, senior vice president at ARTBA member firm HNTB Corporation, has been named the fourth Legacy Award winner by ENR Midwest. The presentation is scheduled for Nov. 29 at the industry publication’s regional best projects awards breakfast in Chicago.
“What set Faerber apart was his leadership in engineering associations, executive working groups, government relations and his participation in school and youth mentorship,” ENR wrote in its Oct. 9 announcement story. “Faerber has built relationships with elected officials, engineers and contractors that has been essential to HNTB’s growth. He has been recognized by peers and clients as an industry leader in architecture and engineering, design-build and contracting.”
Last year, ARTBA honored Faerber with its Guy Kelcey Award, which recognizes a member who has exhibited a high degree of service to the association’s Planning & Design (P&D) Division. He is on the association’s board of directors and is also active with ARTBA chapter affiliate Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA).
The Legacy Award honors individuals in their regions who have achieved a lifetime legacy of service, both in their professions and communities.
