ARTBA’s Central Regional Meeting, Nov. 14-16, in Indianapolis, will offer a featured workshop on “Autonomous Vehicles & Impact on Infrastructure Development.”

Dr. Chandra Bhat, director at the Center for Transportation Research, The University of Texas at Austin, and Dr. Christopher Poe, assistant director at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute for Connected and Automated Transportation Strategy, will lead the interactive session.

Senior ARTBA staff will also:

  • Provide a status report on congressional efforts to find a permanent revenue fix for the Highway Trust Fund and pass a new transportation infrastructure package;
  • Deliver an update on federal regulatory developments; and
  • Share a comprehensive analysis of current transportation construction market conditions in the central U.S.

The meeting is partnered with the Indiana Constructors Inc. (ICI), one of ARTBA’s Chapter affiliates.
