More than a dozen transportation construction industry professionals attended ARTBA’s Dec. 13-15 Project Management Academy in Chicago.
Road and bridge building managers from Walsh Construction Company, Arrow Road Construction, Bigane Paving Co., and TSI sharpened their skills in DBE compliance, business ethics, construction documentation, client relations, economics of safety, scheduling, and management and leadership in the workplace.
Leading industry experts provided substantive theory and challenged attendees to find practical, yet innovative, responses to real-world scenarios and solidify their skills in managing projects in today’s competitive construction industry.
The two-day academy was hosted at the headquarters of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association (IRTBA), one of ARTBA’s chapter affiliates.
