Over 30 young professionals participated in an Oct. 26 roundtable event on their role in the Public-Private Partnership (P3) industry. Their discussion included career development, where P3s are headed, and how they intend to contribute.
Participants in the “P3 Forum for Young Professionals” came from public agencies, private companies and associations. ARTBA Board member Tom Pelnik of EY, Judah Gluckman of the D.C. P3 Office, and Alexandra Lauzon of the Virginia Office of P3s facilitated the event, which was hosted by ARTBA and the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) – D.C. Chapter at the ARTBA Building in Washington, D.C.
The networking event was an outgrowth of a young executives panel at ARTBA’s P3s in Transportation Conference in July. It served as the next step in a series of future events to bring together young professionals in the P3 space to build their networks and discuss shared experiences. ARTBA looks forward to playing a greater role in promoting, protecting and improving the future of the P3 industry.
Information about future events will be announced soon. Please contact Allison Rose if you would like to be involved, or if you know a young leader in your company who may want to be involved.
