ARTBA’s regional meetings offer plenty of networking opportunities for industry professionals to catch up with their peers. Each meeting includes two receptions, a networking luncheon, plus informal time during the breakfasts and at breaks between presentations. These are all great chances to make new business connections and get reacquainted with people you’ve met in the past.
This year, we’ve packed each of the meetings with additional content, including interactive workshops. Here are the dates and workshop topics for all four meetings:
- Oct. 26-28, Southern Regional, New Orleans, La.: “Artificial Intelligence and Impacts on the U.S. Construction Industry”
- Oct. 26-28, Western Regional, Austin, Texas: “Autonomous Vehicles and the Impact on Infrastructure”
- Nov. 2-4, Central Regional, Chicago, Ill.: “The Impacts of Millennials on the U.S. Transportation Construction Industry”
- Nov. 2-4, Northeast Regional, Atlantic City, N.J.: “Innovative Technology for Transportation Projects”
Each of the regional meetings includes transportation construction market and project intelligence reports, and federal transportation policy, regulatory and safety updates. This year’s meetings, which come in the final weeks of the 2016 political campaign, also feature presidential and congressional election previews.
Industry Leader Development Program Chair Jihane Fazio of AECOM, and four regional chairs and four regional vice chairs, planned this year’s agendas.
