When it comes to getting good bang for the buck, the Old Dominion doesn’t play guessing games. It uses a formula to make the determination.

Dr. Morteza Farajian, program manager at the Virginia Office of Public-Private Partnerships, will provide an overview of the commonwealth’s approach to Value for Money (VfM) comparisons during a free May 12 webinar hosted by ARTBA’s P3 Division.

VfM is an assessment of whether or not an organization is maximizing the benefits it receives from the goods and services it acquires and provides. Farajian will discuss VfM guidelines in the context of Virginia P3 Project Delivery Framework.

The webinar also features Ryan Stanton, co-chair of the P3 subcommittee for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and Smart Cities & Urban Infrastructure leader at Schneider Electric. He will discuss the Nashville Chamber’s P3 legislation and P3 project opportunities in the Music City area.

Simon Santiago of Nossaman LLP will moderate the one-hour session, which begins at 2 p.m. Eastern. The webinar is open to all ARTBA members, who should register in advance. For questions, please contact Allison Rose.
