Nov. 3 is Election Day, and ARTBA is tracking more than 30 transportation-related ballot measures around the country.

Among them, Maine residents will vote on an $85 million transportation funding bond, with $68 million allocated for bridge projects. Seattle voters will decide a nine-year, $930 million infrastructure improvement proposal.

ARTBA’s Transportation Investment Advocacy Center (TIAC) Blog and Newsline will report referendum highlights as soon as possible next week.

Meanwhile, read more about recent transportation investment news in Michigan, Rhode Island, Georgia and Wisconsin.

Please contact TIAC manager Carolyn Kramer at anytime you have news about how state and local communities are moving forward with ways to fund highways, bridges and public transit.
