A free ARTBA webinar Aug. 24 will explain Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil-Integrated Bridge System (GRS-IBS) technology and give a national perspective on implementation efforts.

GRS–IBS helps contractors reduce bridge construction time and cost by relying on common, readily available equipment and materials to simplify construction. Such projects can be completed quicker and with less congestion around the work zone. Over 200 bridges across in 44 states and territories have been selected for GRS-IBS technology, which is part of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Every Day Counts program. Read more information.

Daniel Alzamora, senior geotechnical engineer at FHWA, is the webinar presenter. A 13-year veteran of the agency, he has overseen GRS-IBS technology deployment for the last five years.
