ARTBA is seeking the most significant change to environmental law in over a decade.

Measures introduced this session in both houses of Congress would streamline the approval process under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to allow safe chemicals entry into the marketplace more quickly than substances which may require more regulation.  For transportation construction, TSCA reform would help reduce delays be ensuring non-harmful chemicals used in the construction process would not be unnecessarily regulated.

Additionally, the proposals would encourage the innovation and development of new products to further improve the transportation project delivery process.
