Disadvantaged Business Enterprise compliance, environmental issues, construction claims and contractor certifications will be among the key topics discussed at ARTBA’s 7th annual “Transportation Construction Law & Regulatory Forum,” June 15-16 at the ARTBA Building in Washington, D.C. This event is designed for contractors, designers, public officials and other industry leaders.
Some of the nation’s top construction law attorneys and practice leaders will deliver presentations, including: Neal Sweeney of Kilpatrick Townsend; Steven Henderson of Stites & Harbison; Seth Firmender of Lane Construction; and Mark Berry of Peckar & Abramson.
ARTBA’s Senior Vice President of Government Relations David Bauer also will provide an update on the Highway Trust Fund and prospects for a long-term highway & transit bill.
Professional development hours will be available. So far, 6.5 hours of CLE credit has been approved for attorneys barred in Kentucky or Pennsylvania. We are currently in the process of confirming additional states for CLE credit.
