ARTBA welcomed seven new members to the following divisions last month, including:
Contractors: Blackstone Construction, a vertically integrated heavy highway general contractor based in Arkansas.
Materials & Services: 1) Massachusetts-based Emseal Joint Systems, a manufacturer and distributor of expansion joints and pre-compressed sealants; 2) Law firm Mayer Brown, founded in 1863 with its first of seven U.S. offices located in Chicago and a transportation practice with clients worldwide; and 3) New York-based Government Contractors Benefit Trust, which helps “open shop” contractors subject to the Davis-Bacon Act or State Prevailing wage laws move fringes out of payroll and into bona fide benefits plans.
Equipment Manufacturers: NAI Cranes, a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of industrial cranes.
Public-Private Partnerships: Aon Infrastructure Solutions, a Chicago-based risk advisory service firm for alternate project delivery.
Research & Education: Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, which operates an emergency response and preparedness campus providing workforce training for first responders.
