11:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., EST

Sessions on asset management, state and local trends in transportation funding, best practices in maintaining unpaved roads, snow removal, flagging on low volume roads, temporary traffic control measures on gravel roads, and encore presentations on road work zone safety issues are on the agenda for ARTBA’s LōTrans 2014, the Local Transportation Management & Safety Virtual Conference.

The December 10 event, which is free, runs from 11:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., EST, and is accessible from your desktop or laptop computer.

Now in its third year, LōTrans was organized with the leadership, counsel and support of ARTBA’s Transportation Officials Division (TOD), which includes city, county, state and federal officials from across the nation.  It is being supported by the National Association of County Engineers, the National Local Technical Assistance Program Association, and the National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse.

LōTrans utilizes digital technologies to bring a first-class, interactive education experience to hundreds of city and county government officials who annually manage $50 billion in transportation infrastructure capital investments, maintenance, engineering and traffic services, and snow removal.
