3M’s Traffic Safety & Security Division has announced its plans to make a major gift to help support the ARTBA Foundation’s “Lanford Family Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship” fund. The ARTBA program, established in 1999, provides post-high school financial assistance to the children of highway workers killed or permanently disabled on the job. This is the third straight year the Minneapolis-based firm has supported the program through its “Visibility Safer Work Zones Project.”
Funds for the donation come from a portion of company sales of its Diamond Grade Fluorescent Orange Reflective Sheeting™ during the period March 3 through National Work Zone Awareness Week, scheduled April 7-11.
Gifts to support the ARTBA scholarship are tax-deductible. To learn more about how you can support the fund, contact ARTBA’s Kashae Williams
