Convenient access to information and educational content is one of the most valuable services ARTBA provides to its members. It helps them run their business operations more efficiently and profitably by learning about the latest trends and technology, as well as government regulation and legislation. Interactive webinars—often presented for free—are a popular way to hear from top professionals about a variety of issues impacting the transportation design and construction industry. Last year, ARTBA hosted 15 such webinars.

Now, ARTBA is looking for presentation ideas, topics, and experts for its 2018 webinar lineup. The submission deadline is Friday, Jan. 26. Presentations can be done remotely or live from the ARTBA headquarters in Washington, D.C. Topics covered in previous webinars included:

  • Project Delivery
  • Innovation
  • P3s
  • Economics
  • Construction Claims
  • Insurance & Surety Issues
  • Safety
  • DBE Compliance
  • Risk Management

Presentations are typically 60 minutes, including Q&A, and should not be “sales pitches” for a particular product or service. They are meant to educate, stimulate discussion, and provide practical information to help industry professionals address the “real world” challenges they currently face during the design and construction of infrastructure projects.

If you have a proposed topic and suggested speaker, please send the speaker name(s), presentation title, short description, and other details to ARTBA Senior Vice President, Strategic Engagement, Allison Klein.
